The conference was a wild success.  I spoke with the organizers, and heard that the conference sold 30% more seats than were planned for.  The conference sold out several hotels in the area -- logistics were handled really well!

Despite the good turnout, there were a number of folks who had told me they were planning on attending that had to cancel last minute either because of workload or budgetary issues.

My sessions were rather lightly attended, but I took as many opportunities to promote ODUG as possible.  The good news is that there was interest in starting some regional ODUGs in Europe -- specifically Paris.

I’m looking forward to some time at home this summer, working remotely on a major migration project for a US-based bank.  I’ll also be taking some time to try and plan a Toronto-based CMOD User’s Group.  I’ll keep you posted!
